Data Deletion Policy & Request
1. Steps to Request Data Deletion
We offer an easy in-app method and an external request method to ensure you can always manage your privacy.
Method A: In-App Deletion (Recommended)
This is the fastest method, as it automatically triggers a removal process associated with your user ID.
- Open the PocketAce app.
- Navigate to the Settings tab.
- Scroll down to the bottom section
- Tap "Delete Account" and confirm your action.
- Make sure it deletes, you may need to log in again before you can delete it if it has been a while since you last logged in.
Method B: External Request (For Users Who Have Uninstalled)
If you are unable to access the app (e.g., you have uninstalled it), you may submit a direct request via your email registered with PocketAce:
- Send an email to our support team at willmeans@pocketaceapps.com. The email subject line MUST be:
Data Deletion Request: [Your Registered Email]. - In the email body, state your registered PocketAce email address and confirm, "I wish to permanently and irrevocably delete all personal data associated with this account."
2. Data Deleted and Retention Policy
Upon receiving a verified deletion request via Method A or B, we will permanently delete the following data from our active production database.
Personal Identifiers
Deleted within 30 days of verified request.
User-Generated Content
Deleted within 30 days of verified request.
App Performance Data
Retained
Anonymous data (e.g., crash logs, network performance data) that cannot be linked back to the individual user will be retained for up to 90 days for regulatory and security purposes.
Request Data Deletion via Email
If you prefer to submit your deletion request through this form, please provide your registered email address below. We will process your request within 30 days.
